H.R. No. 1589
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cade Skuza of Jasper High School distinguished
himself by winning first place in the Boys B singles division of the
Legacy High School Tennis Tournament, held on March 6, 2015, in
Beaumont; and
WHEREAS, A sophomore, Mr. Skuza claimed the tournament crown
with an impressive performance that saw him defeat five opponents
from other area schools; and
WHEREAS, This determined athlete won three of his first four
matches by a comfortable margin, with his victory over Saalik
Dhanani of Nederland being the only close contest; he then finished
the tournament with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph in the finals; and
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to excellence, Cade
Skuza has established himself as a high school tennis player of
great promise, and he may take justifiable pride in his
achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Cade Skuza on his first place
finish at the Legacy High School Tennis Tournament and extend to him
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Skuza as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
