| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated restaurants hold a |

| 7 | 8 | | such establishment, Mr. G's BBQ, has offered a distinctive and |

| 8 | 9 | | enjoyable dining experience to residents of Corpus Christi; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Founded in July 2011 by Jorge Gonzalez III, Mr. G's |

| 10 | 11 | | has quickly become a local favorite, with its traditional |

| 11 | 12 | | Texas-style fare and inviting family atmosphere; today, service at |

| 12 | 13 | | the restaurant is provided by a staff of 15 employees, including |

| 13 | 14 | | several members of the Gonzalez clan; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. G's BBQ has gained a loyal following over the |

| 15 | 16 | | years, and it is a pleasure to commend the Gonzalez family on their |

| 16 | 17 | | contributions to the prosperity and culinary diversity of their |
