| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their |

| 6 | 7 | | memories of Jeremy Davis Brown of Austin, who died on September 9, |

| 7 | 8 | | 2014, at the age of 43; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Jeremy Brown was born on January 31, 1971, at the |

| 9 | 10 | | Keesler Air Force Base Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Debra |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | and David Brown; he grew up in Mississippi and in his early years |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | lived in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Odessa, before graduating |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | from high school in Bellaire, Texas, in 1989; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, For more than 10 years, Mr. Brown worked as a |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | private investigator in Houston; in 1997, he received a bachelor's |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin, and he |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | went on to earn his law degree at South Texas College of Law in |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | Houston; he was admitted to the bar in 2006 and opened his own |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | family law practice in Austin; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Brown spent as much time as he could pursuing an |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | active life out-of-doors, fishing along the Texas Coast and hunting |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | in South and West Texas; he was devoted to his three Labrador |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | retrievers, and he loved everything about Texas, from the history |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | and the landscape, to its music and its people; and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Although his life ended far too soon, Jeremy Brown |

| 25 | 26 | | will forever be remembered by his loved ones and his friends for his |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | kindness, his warmth, and his concern for others; now, therefore, |
