H.R. No. 1775 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may help comfort the loved ones of Joe Raymond Henderson Jr. of Midland, who passed away on March 26, 2015, at the age of 63; and WHEREAS, Joe Henderson was born on June 30, 1951, to Gwendolyn Clemmons Hedges and Joe Henderson Sr. in Kilgore; a lifelong Texan, he grew up in Midland and also resided in Lubbock and Snyder; he began his career in engineering in 1979 with Southwestern Universal Drilling Fluids, now known as Newpark Resources, where he continued to work until his passing; and WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Henderson enjoyed the love and support of his wife of 23 years, Barbra; he was the proud father of a daughter, Jennifer, and he cherished the time he spent with his granddaughters, Emily and Olivia; and WHEREAS, Although Joe Henderson is deeply missed, memories of his good humor, his kind and generous spirit, and his devotion to his family remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Joe Raymond Henderson Jr. and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife, Barbra Henderson; to his daughter, Jennifer Taylor and her husband, Robert; to his granddaughters, Emily and Olivia; to his parents, Pat and Joe Henderson; to his siblings, Terri Balkey and her husband, Bill, Dayna Mast and her husband, Hank, Sonya Buehler-Henderson, and Vince Henderson; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joe Raymond Henderson Jr. Craddick ______________________________ Speaker of the House I certify that H.R.
