 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Members of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and the
 Tuesday Forum are visiting the State Capitol on April 7, 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Founded in 1919, the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce is
 dedicated to the betterment of the community, and since the
 chamber's inception, it has been involved in a host of development
 initiatives; it began by promoting the construction of good
 highways, including U.S. Highway 67 and what is now State Highway
 171, and in its inaugural year, it underwrote half the salary of the
 county agricultural extension agent; and
 WHEREAS, The chamber has grown to become the largest in
 Johnson County, with more than 960 members, and it represents 750
 businesses; to better serve the area's dominant economic sectors,
 it has developed especially broad expertise in agriculture and
 industry; and
 WHEREAS, For more than 30 years, the Tuesday Forum has
 provided a monthly venue for the nonpartisan discussion of civic
 matters; the members are business and professional men and women
 committed to meeting the challenges that face the community, and
 the group invites speakers to address a variety of contemporary
 topics; and
 WHEREAS, The public-spirited members of the Cleburne Chamber
 of Commerce and the Tuesday Forum are contributing to the
 prosperity and vitality of their community, and it is a privilege to
 recognize them for their outstanding civic engagement; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby welcome members of the Cleburne Chamber of
 Commerce and the Tuesday Forum to the State Capitol and extend to
 them sincere best wishes for a productive and enjoyable visit; and,
 be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for each organization as an expression of high regard by
 the Texas House of Representatives.
