R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Eric B. Darnell of El Paso has been elected as a
fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Each year, only one-third of one percent of Texas
State Bar members are invited to become fellows of the foundation;
this prestigious honor acknowledges attorneys who have contributed
to the legal profession through their outstanding professional
achievements and their proven commitment to improving the justice
system across Texas; and
WHEREAS, Eric Darnell is licensed in state and federal courts
in both Texas and New Mexico, and he maintains an active docket of
cases; in addition, he has authored publications and frequently
lectures on employment and labor law, civil litigation, real estate
law, construction law, ethics, and attorney professionalism; and
WHEREAS, Eric Darnell has distinguished himself in the legal
profession, and he may take justifiable pride in this significant
accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Eric Darnell on his election as a
fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and extend to him sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Darnell as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
