| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Eric B. Darnell of El Paso has been elected as a |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Each year, only one-third of one percent of Texas |

| 8 | 9 | | State Bar members are invited to become fellows of the foundation; |

| 9 | 10 | | this prestigious honor acknowledges attorneys who have contributed |

| 10 | 11 | | to the legal profession through their outstanding professional |

| 11 | 12 | | achievements and their proven commitment to improving the justice |

| 12 | 13 | | system across Texas; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Eric Darnell is licensed in state and federal courts |

| 14 | 15 | | in both Texas and New Mexico, and he maintains an active docket of |

| 15 | 16 | | cases; in addition, he has authored publications and frequently |

| 16 | 17 | | lectures on employment and labor law, civil litigation, real estate |

| 17 | 18 | | law, construction law, ethics, and attorney professionalism; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Eric Darnell has distinguished himself in the legal |

| 21 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
