| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may help |

| 6 | 7 | | to comfort those saddened by the death of Charles Fisher White of |

| 7 | 8 | | Baytown on December 1, 2014, at the age of 84; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Ingleside on October 21, 1930, to William |

| 9 | 10 | | and Viola White, Charles White grew up in Baytown, where he |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | continued to reside for the rest of his life; a graduate of Robert |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | E. Lee High School, he earned a business degree from The University |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | of Texas; in 1955, he founded White Supply Company, which he |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | operated until his retirement in 1990; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. White was an active member of the Rotary Club of |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Baytown for more than 50 years; recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | by the organization, he was further honored when the club |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | established a Service Above Self scholarship in his name; in his |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking photographs, |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | and he was especially fond of sharing stories and jokes; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, For nearly six decades, Mr. White enjoyed the love |

| 21 | 22 | | and support of his wife, the former Shirley Stassi; they were the |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | proud parents of three children, Lu Ann, Mark, and Matthew, and in |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | later years, Mr. White delighted in the company of his seven |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Charles White treasured the time he spent in the |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | in turn cherish their memories of this kind and caring man; now, |
