| 8 | 9 | | the Texas History Day statewide contest; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, After working for the better part of a year on a |

| 10 | 11 | | historical project of their choosing, this talented pair of |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | eighth-graders faced off against some of the brightest minds from |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | around Central Texas on the campus of Baylor University; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Robinson took home first-place honors in the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | historical paper division, and Mr. Cox was recognized as the |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | runner-up in the individual exhibit category; with their exemplary |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | performances, they qualified for the state-level Texas History Day |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | contest to be held May 2 in Austin; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, In attaining this notable accomplishment, these |

| 19 | 20 | | capable young Texans have demonstrated great initiative and |

| 20 | 21 | | ability, and they may indeed look forward to a future bright with |
