| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The untimely death of Justin Havens Moore on March |

| 6 | 7 | | 30, 2015, at the age of 31, has brought profound sorrow to his |

| 7 | 8 | | family and friends; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Stephenville, Justin Moore was the son of |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | Linda Moore and Robert Paige Moore; he attended Stephenville High |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | School and participated in 4-H, UIL Number Sense, and soccer, and he |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | attained the rank of Eagle Scout; after completing his bachelor's |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | degree in industrial distribution at Texas A&M University, he |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | joined the staff of Applied Technologies of Atlanta, Georgia, where |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | he was a member of the leadership development program for inside |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | sales in industrial manufacturing; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Moore suffered from severe congenital heart |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | disease, and when his health worsened in 2008, he moved home to |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | Texas to be closer to his family; he worked as the territory manager |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | for NSK Applied Industrial Technologies, handling sales in Texas, |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Kansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, before serving as a regional sales |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | manager for WJB Group; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, In 2010, Mr. Moore became the proud father of a |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | daughter, Averie Marie Moore; he was devoted to his "shining star," |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | and he especially loved taking her to the park and teaching her how |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | to fish; an avid traveler, he visited his sister during her |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | residence in England, and he took trips to France and Spain; he was |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | an excellent cook and enjoyed watching the Food Network and trying |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | out new recipes; in addition, he was a loyal fan of the Dallas |
|---|
| 29 | 30 | | Cowboys and Texas A&M football, and he delighted in debating with |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | his mom and helping his relatives with technology; he was very fond |
|---|
| 31 | 32 | | of his golden retriever, Toby; and |
|---|
| 32 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Justin Moore faced the difficult challenges of his |
|---|
| 33 | 34 | | illness with enormous grace, courage, and determination, and |
|---|
| 34 | 35 | | although he is deeply missed, his loved ones will forever cherish |

| 35 | 36 | | their memories of his wry wit and his kind and caring ways; now, |

| 37 | 38 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 38 | 39 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Justin Havens Moore |

| 40 | 41 | | parents, Paige and Linda Moore; to his sister, Maren Moxom and her |
