| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 2011, the Republican Women of North |

| 9 | 10 | | Collin County are affiliated with both the TFRW and the National |

| 10 | 11 | | Federation of Republican Women; the volunteer group serves Frisco, |

| 11 | 12 | | McKinney, Celina, Prosper, and all areas of the county north of |

| 12 | 13 | | Plano, striving to empower women and to enlist their support in the |

| 13 | 14 | | cause of good government; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The members of this notable organization are |

| 15 | 16 | | dedicated to informing the public, encouraging voter |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | participation, and electing their party's candidates to office; in |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | addition, the group hosts a monthly speaker series featuring public |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | officials, civic leaders, and national figures who address a |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | variety of important topics; the organization also offers |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | opportunities to contribute to numerous service projects, and it |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | sponsors scholarships for promising young women; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Through their active civic engagement, the members |

| 23 | 24 | | of the Republican Women of North Collin County are making a positive |
