| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jackson S. Riggins of Boy Scouts of America Troop |

| 6 | 7 | | No. 405 in Georgetown has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 8 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |

| 9 | 10 | | honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |

| 10 | 11 | | scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |

| 11 | 12 | | criteria, Mr. Riggins earned 33 merit badges, recorded 104 days and |

| 12 | 13 | | nights of camping, and took part in 61 service projects totaling 261 |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | hours; he successfully completed an Eagle Scout project, which |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | involved removing an invasive plant species known as mustard |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | cabbage at Berry Springs Park; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A sophomore at Georgetown High School, this fine |

| 17 | 18 | | young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability |

| 18 | 19 | | throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and admiration |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | of the fellow members of his troop as he worked toward the highest |

| 20 | 21 | | rank that the organization offers; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Riggins has demonstrated a dedication to |

| 22 | 23 | | excellence and a perseverance in the pursuit of his goals that have |

| 23 | 24 | | proven him worthy to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed |

| 24 | 25 | | reflect with pride on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
