| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jose Maganda has been named the 2015 Teacher of the |

| 7 | 8 | | program sponsored by the Austin Independent School District; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 9 | 10 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | in the lives of their students and in the communities in which they |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | live; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The influence of an educator extends far beyond the |

| 14 | 15 | | walls of the classroom and the duration of the school year, and Jose |
