| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |

| 6 | 7 | | of Paul N. Foster of Alba, who passed away on February 28, 2015, at |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This native Texan was born in Alba on September 7, |

| 9 | 10 | | 1927, to Charles and Sara Foster; he began his career working on |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | ranches in West Texas before returning to Alba and finding success |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | as a farmer and cattle buyer; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Foster married the former Carol McGuire on |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | August 12, 1975, and the couple enjoyed nearly four decades of |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | marriage together; he was a proud father to his stepchildren, |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Michael and Amy, and he later welcomed a granddaughter, Angela, and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | two great-grandchildren, Ty and Reese, into his treasured family; |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Paul Foster achieved a life that |

| 19 | 20 | | was rich in the intangibles that matter most, and those who were |

| 20 | 21 | | privileged to share in his love and affection will forever hold him |

| 21 | 22 | | close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 23 | 24 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Paul N. Foster and |

| 24 | 25 | | extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife of |

| 25 | 26 | | 39 years, Carol Foster; to his stepson, Michael Mullins Jr.; to his |
