| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The son of Allan and Cindy Cox, this Memorial High |

| 10 | 11 | | School senior has mastered a number of important skills in his quest |

| 11 | 12 | | to become an Eagle Scout; he has earned merit badges requiring |

| 12 | 13 | | expertise in such diverse areas as first aid, fish and wildlife |

| 13 | 14 | | management, and rifle and shotgun shooting; furthermore, he has |

| 14 | 15 | | gained experience in leadership and teamwork while undertaking his |

| 15 | 16 | | Eagle Scout project, which involved floor-to-ceiling renovations |

| 16 | 17 | | and repairs to restrooms at the Rose of Sharon Baptist Church; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A valued member of Boy Scout Troop No. 652 in |

| 18 | 19 | | Houston, Mr. Cox has served his peers as a patrol, assistant |

| 19 | 20 | | patrol, and assistant senior patrol leader, a den chief, a Philmont |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Scout Ranch High Adventure expedition leader, and an Engineering |

| 21 | 22 | | Explorer Troop vice president, and in so doing, he has exemplified |

| 22 | 23 | | the many positive traits for which Boy Scouts are renowned; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for |

| 24 | 25 | | attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Joshua Clifford Cox has |

| 25 | 26 | | demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Boy Scouts |
