| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The son of David Dodd and Penny Dodd, this junior at |

| 10 | 11 | | Second Baptist School has mastered a number of important skills in |

| 11 | 12 | | his quest to become an Eagle Scout; he has earned merit badges |

| 12 | 13 | | requiring expertise in such diverse areas as first aid, personal |

| 13 | 14 | | fitness, environmental science, woodcarving, and public speaking, |

| 14 | 15 | | and he has gained experience in leadership and teamwork while |

| 15 | 16 | | undertaking his Eagle Scout project, which involved making |

| 16 | 17 | | improvements to several Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, A valued member of Boy Scout Troop No. 13 in |

| 19 | 20 | | Houston, Mr. Dodd has served his peers as a den chief, troop guide, |

| 20 | 21 | | patrol leader, and crew leader, and in so doing, he has exemplified |

| 21 | 22 | | the many positive traits for which Boy Scouts are renowned; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for |

| 23 | 24 | | attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Alex Dodd has demonstrated an |
