45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Officer Jessie Rogers has rendered outstanding
67 service to his fellow North Texas residents during his 25-year
78 career with the Arlington Police Department; and
89 WHEREAS, The well-being of a community depends on the skill
910 and courage of its police personnel, as well as on their steadfast
1011 commitment to serve and protect; and
1112 WHEREAS, A respected public servant, Officer Rogers can take
1213 justifiable pride in the contributions he has made in safeguarding
1314 the lives and property of local citizens; and
1415 WHEREAS, Throughout his distinguished tenure, Officer Rogers
1516 has exemplified the highest ideals of the law enforcement
1617 profession, and he is indeed deserving of recognition for a job well
1718 done; now, therefore, be it
1819 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
1920 Legislature hereby honor Officer Jessie Rogers for his 25 years of
2021 service with the Arlington Police Department and extend to him
2122 sincere best wishes for continued success in his vital work; and, be
2223 it further
2324 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2425 prepared for Officer Rogers as an expression of high regard by the
2526 Texas House of Representatives.
