H.R. No. 2156
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The city of Socorro has greatly benefited from the
dedicated efforts of City Council Representative Gloria Rodriguez;
and
WHEREAS, A Socorro native, Representative Rodriguez was a
volunteer with the Civil Service Commission for nine years before
running for city council, and her knowledge and expertise in a wide
range of community issues have earned her the respect of many people
along the way; and
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
life for their fellow citizens in numerous ways, and the efforts of
Gloria Rodriguez are helping to make Socorro an even better place in
which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Socorro City Council Representative
Gloria Rodriguez for her exemplary public service and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
