8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, In charge of the DARE program since 1987, Lieutenant |

9 | 10 | | Brown suffered a fatal heart attack while driving the agency's DARE |

10 | 11 | | vehicle on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Causeway; the lieutenant |

11 | 12 | | was survived by his wife; and |

12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Our state and nation benefit immeasurably from the |

13 | 14 | | courage and commitment of law enforcement professionals such as |
