H.R. No. 2201
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Corando R. Trevino is marking an important milestone
in his career in 2015, with the 40th anniversary of his ownership of
Modern Pharmacy in Robstown; and
WHEREAS, Opened in 1937, Modern Pharmacy moved to its current
location in 1964, and Mr. Trevino acquired the store on October 1,
1975; and
WHEREAS, Modern Pharmacy is the only pharmacist-owned
drugstore in Robstown, and Mr. Trevino and his eight employees have
earned a reputation for outstanding customer service; and
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Trevino enjoys the love
and support of his wife, Ninfa, and their family; and
WHEREAS, Over the past four decades, Modern Pharmacy has
gained a loyal following, and owner Corando R. Trevino may take
pride in the vital role his business continues to play in the
Robstown community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Corando R. Trevino on the 40th
anniversary of his ownership of Modern Pharmacy in Robstown and
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Trevino as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
