| 7 | 8 | | Athletic Trainers' Association Hall of Fame at the organization's |

| 8 | 9 | | 2015 meeting, which is taking place from July 16 to 18 in Houston; |

|---|
| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A native of Hondo, Ms. Supak graduated from Westlake |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | High School in Austin and earned her bachelor's degree from |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Southwest Texas State University in 1984; she began her career at La |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Porte High School, and for the past 23 years she has distinguished |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | herself as head athletic trainer at Clear Brook High School in |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Friendswood; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Supak has further benefited her profession as |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | president of the Greater Houston Athletic Trainers' Society and as |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | a founding member and president of the Texas State Athletic |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Trainers' Association; she has been an active member of SWATA for |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | more than three decades, and she was appointed to the Texas Advisory |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Board of Athletic Trainers in 2013 by Governor Rick Perry; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan is the recipient of many |

| 23 | 24 | | well-deserved accolades, among which are the National Athletic |

| 24 | 25 | | Trainers' Association Athletic Trainer Service Award, the GHATS |

| 25 | 26 | | Bobby Gunn Award and Logan Wood Award for Meritorious Service, and |

| 26 | 27 | | the Certificate of Merit from the American Red Cross; moreover, |

| 27 | 28 | | Ms. Supak was previously honored by SWATA with the Ross Moss Award |

| 28 | 29 | | for Leadership as well as the 2011 Most Distinguished Athletic |

| 29 | 30 | | Trainer Award; and |

| 30 | 31 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Ms. Supak enjoys the love and |

| 31 | 32 | | support of a fine family that includes her husband, Ray, and her two |

| 32 | 33 | | children, Amanda and Cameron; and |

| 33 | 34 | | WHEREAS, Cathy Supak has demonstrated a long-standing |

| 34 | 35 | | commitment to her profession and to ensuring the well-being of |

| 35 | 36 | | young athletes, and she may take justifiable pride in her |

| 36 | 37 | | accomplishments as she accepts this prestigious hall of fame honor; |
