45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Emily Landsman, a senior at Livingston Montessori
67 School, was selected for special recognition on March 25, 2015, for
78 her entry in the art contest sponsored by the Livingston-Polk
89 County Chamber of Commerce and the Trinity-Neches Livestock Show
910 and Rodeo; and
1011 WHEREAS, Participants in the competition submitted a
1112 photograph, drawing, or painting depicting life in Polk County;
1213 Ms. Landsman entered a photograph of a pine tree, which captured
1314 the natural beauty of the region, and her award-winning work will be
1415 made into a souvenir postcard to be distributed by the chamber; and
1516 WHEREAS, With her fine showing in the contest, Emily Landsman
1617 has demonstrated outstanding ability and imagination, and she may
1718 indeed take pride in her accomplishments as a photographer; now,
1819 therefore, be it
1920 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2021 Legislature hereby congratulate Emily Landsman on her success in
2122 the art contest sponsored by the Livingston-Polk County Chamber of
2223 Commerce and the 2015 Trinity-Neches Livestock Show and Rodeo and
2324 extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2425 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2526 prepared for Ms. Landsman as an expression of high regard by the
2627 Texas House of Representatives.
