 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Chase Wolf of Waco has been awarded a scholarship
 from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation; and
 WHEREAS, The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the
 Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Inc., which is
 providing a total of 261 scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic
 year to exemplary undergraduate students who are the children or
 grandchildren of former agents or the children of graduates of the
 FBI National Academy; and
 WHEREAS, Selection for the honor is based on academic
 credentials as well as on such criteria as leadership, community
 involvement, and financial need; Mr. Wolf is the grandson of former
 agent Claude Duffy Brown and is currently studying at Baylor
 University; he graduated from Midway High School, where he
 participated in the National Honor Society, orchestra, and the
 football and track and field teams, in addition to attaining the
 rank of Eagle Scout; and
 WHEREAS, A most deserving recipient, this outstanding young
 Texan has demonstrated impressive drive and ability as he works
 toward his scholastic and personal goals, and he may indeed look
 forward to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Chase Wolf on his receipt of a
 scholarship from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation and extend
 to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his
 endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Wolf as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
