| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Chase Wolf of Waco has been awarded a scholarship |

| 6 | 7 | | from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The foundation is the philanthropic arm of the |

| 8 | 9 | | Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI, Inc., which is |

| 9 | 10 | | providing a total of 261 scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | year to exemplary undergraduate students who are the children or |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | grandchildren of former agents or the children of graduates of the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | FBI National Academy; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Selection for the honor is based on academic |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | credentials as well as on such criteria as leadership, community |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | involvement, and financial need; Mr. Wolf is the grandson of former |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | agent Claude Duffy Brown and is currently studying at Baylor |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | University; he graduated from Midway High School, where he |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | participated in the National Honor Society, orchestra, and the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | football and track and field teams, in addition to attaining the |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | rank of Eagle Scout; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, A most deserving recipient, this outstanding young |

| 22 | 23 | | Texan has demonstrated impressive drive and ability as he works |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | toward his scholastic and personal goals, and he may indeed look |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | forward to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Chase Wolf on his receipt of a |

| 27 | 28 | | scholarship from the Former Agents of the FBI Foundation and extend |

| 28 | 29 | | to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
