H.R. No. 2238
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Five talented vocalists from Tennyson Middle School
in Waco were named to the Texas Music Educators Association
All-Region 8 Choir in 2015; and
WHEREAS, Selection to the All-Region Choir represents a
distinctive honor for choir students in Texas, who advance to this
level by achieving top performance ratings as determined by a panel
of TMEA judges; the students from Tennyson Middle School chosen for
the ensemble were Ali Pendleton, Michael Wood, Andrew Ramirez,
Haden Singletary, and Kaleb Martin; and
WHEREAS, These gifted young Texans have demonstrated their
commitment to excellence through hard work and many hours of
practice, and they can take justifiable pride in their outstanding
achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Ali Pendleton, Michael Wood,
Andrew Ramirez, Haden Singletary, and Kaleb Martin on their
selection as TMEA All-Region 8 Choir members and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House
of Representatives.
