| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born on November 4, 1934, in Ramallah, Palestine, |

| 9 | 10 | | Jalil Foty was the son of Hanna and Jamila Foty; he was raised with |

| 10 | 11 | | the companionship of two siblings, his sister, Jalila, and his |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | brother, Mufid; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Foty immigrated to the United States, making his |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | home in the Houston area, and shared a rewarding relationship with |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | his wife, Lillian; he was the proud father of six children, Imad, |

| 15 | 16 | | Nihad, Fuad, Jihad, Dina, and Ghada, and with the passing years, he |

| 16 | 17 | | had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include 20 |

| 17 | 18 | | grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Jalil Hanna Foty enjoyed a life that was rich in the |

| 19 | 20 | | intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
