| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A social studies instructor at Memorial High School |

| 9 | 10 | | since 1993, Ms. Reid is dedicated to helping her students reach |

| 10 | 11 | | their highest potential; from listening to their concerns to giving |

| 11 | 12 | | advice about college or writing letters of recommendation, she is |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | known to always offer her unreserved support; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Reid has further benefited her school through |

| 14 | 15 | | her efforts as a sponsor and coach of extracurricular activities |

| 15 | 16 | | and as the school's graduation coordinator; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The influence of an educator extends far beyond the |

| 17 | 18 | | walls of the classroom and the duration of the school year, and |

| 18 | 19 | | Kathleen Reid has worked to instill in her students a lifelong love |
