| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The loved ones of Armando G. Ochoa Sr. of Elsa were |

| 6 | 7 | | greatly saddened by his passing on March 24, 2015, at the age of 80; |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Armando Ochoa was born in Elsa on May 14, 1934, to |

| 9 | 10 | | Apolonio Longoria-Ochoa and Eduvijes Guzman-Ochoa; a veteran of the |

| 10 | 11 | | United States Army, he was stationed at Fort Bliss, and he served |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | his country with pride and distinction; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Ochoa was blessed with the |

| 13 | 14 | | love and support of his cherished wife, Elisa; he was the proud |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | father of five children, Jaime, Orlando, Armando, Norma, and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Belinda, and as his family grew, he shared many treasured moments |

| 16 | 17 | | with his eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Armando Ochoa enjoyed a life that was rich in the |

| 18 | 19 | | intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |

| 19 | 20 | | who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
