| 8 | 9 | | even earlier age, making it to the battle round of the Telemundo |

| 9 | 10 | | program La Voz Kids, a Spanish version of the hit show The Voice; |

| 10 | 11 | | she was featured in Stars2Come magazine in 2013, and the following |

| 11 | 12 | | year, she worked with a number of noted producers and songwriters; |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, This gifted young artist made it to the Hollywood |

| 14 | 15 | | week on Season 14 of American Idol, and she continues to hone her |

| 15 | 16 | | craft in the studio; in addition, she is performing at Rio Grande |

| 16 | 17 | | Valley schools as a member of the Never Stop Dreaming tours; she has |

| 17 | 18 | | also shared her time and talents to benefit a number of charitable |

| 18 | 19 | | organizations, among them Tunes for Tots, Make a Wish Foundation, |

| 19 | 20 | | and Be A Match Foundation; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, A source of pride to her family and friends, Alexis |

| 21 | 22 | | Chapa is working tirelessly to achieve her goals in the music |
