 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Leadership Prep School has been selected for the
 2015 Best of Frisco Award in the elementary and secondary schools
 category by the Frisco Award Program; and
 WHEREAS, The Frisco Award Program annually recognizes local
 businesses and organizations that have made significant
 contributions to the community; honorees are chosen on the basis of
 information gathered by third parties and by the program itself;
 and
 WHEREAS, Established in 2011, Leadership Prep enrolls some
 520 students in kindergarten through the seventh grade; in 2014,
 the school received the accountability rating "Met Standard" with
 distinctions, the highest level assigned by the Texas Education
 Agency, ranking it among the top two percent of Texas public
 schools; in addition, the school earned a perfect financial audit
 score during its most recent state review; and
 WHEREAS, Leadership Prep is a member of the Texas Charter
 School Academic and Athletic League, and its students have
 distinguished themselves in a number of extracurricular
 activities, such as one-act play competition and the Math Olympiad;
 and
 WHEREAS, By providing a first-rate education for the students
 under its care, Leadership Prep is helping to equip young people in
 the community for the challenges and opportunities of the future,
 and its accomplishments are indeed deserving of recognition; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Leadership Prep School on its
 receipt of the 2015 Best of Frisco Award in the elementary and
 secondary schools category and extend sincere best wishes for
 continued success to its students, faculty, administrators, and
 staff; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
