| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The loved ones of Jose Dolorez Luna of Robstown were |

| 6 | 7 | | greatly saddened by his passing on April 6, 2015, at the age of 70; |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Jose Luna, affectionately known as "Gelo," was born |

| 9 | 10 | | in Robstown on March 23, 1945, to Basilio and San Juana Amesquita |

| 10 | 11 | | Luna; he shared 45 loving years with his wife, Maria Alicia, and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | couple were blessed with seven children, Hector, Diana, Jaime, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Julie, Esteban, Maria, and Starr; as his extended family grew, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Mr. Luna delighted in spending time with his 14 grandchildren and 6 |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A devout Catholic, Mr. Luna was a valued congregant |

| 16 | 17 | | of St. Michael the Archangel Parish; he also engaged with his |

| 17 | 18 | | community as a school board member, serving Banquete ISD for 13 |

| 18 | 19 | | years; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Jose Luna enjoyed a life that was rich in the |

| 20 | 21 | | intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
