45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Maya Fitzpatrick has ably served her fellow Texans
67 as an intern in the office of State Representative Mary González
78 during the 84th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Fitzpatrick has
910 provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging
1011 tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process
1112 and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has
1213 gained valuable experience in the field of public service; and
1314 WHEREAS, Ms. Fitzpatrick, who hails from Cibolo, is the
1415 daughter of Debra and Michael Fitzpatrick; she is currently
1516 studying government and economics as a freshman at The University
1617 of Texas at Austin, where she is in the liberal arts honors program,
1718 and she aspires to a career in health care or in education policy
1819 and law; and
1920 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
2021 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
2122 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2223 therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby commend Maya Fitzpatrick for her service as a
2526 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Mary
2627 González and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
2728 success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Fitzpatrick as an expression of high regard by the
3031 Texas House of Representatives.
