| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Maya Fitzpatrick has ably served her fellow Texans |

| 7 | 8 | | during the 84th Legislative Session; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Fitzpatrick has |

| 9 | 10 | | provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |

| 10 | 11 | | tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process |

| 11 | 12 | | and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | gained valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Fitzpatrick, who hails from Cibolo, is the |

| 14 | 15 | | daughter of Debra and Michael Fitzpatrick; she is currently |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | studying government and economics as a freshman at The University |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | of Texas at Austin, where she is in the liberal arts honors program, |

| 17 | 18 | | and she aspires to a career in health care or in education policy |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | and law; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby commend Maya Fitzpatrick for her service as a |
