R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Bridget Guien has ably served the constituents of
House District 19 as an intern in the office of State Representative
James White during the 84th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Guien has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
valuable experience in the field of public service; and
WHEREAS, A former resident of Niceville, Florida, Ms. Guien
graduated from Niceville High School in 2014; she is now studying
economics at The University of Texas at Austin, where she expects to
earn her degree in May 2018, and she is also active in the College
Republicans at Texas as the club's communications director; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young woman has performed her
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Bridget Guien for her service as a
legislative intern in the office of State Representative James
White and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Guien as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
