45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Bridget Guien has ably served the constituents of
67 House District 19 as an intern in the office of State Representative
78 James White during the 84th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Guien has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
1011 in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
1112 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained
1213 valuable experience in the field of public service; and
1314 WHEREAS, A former resident of Niceville, Florida, Ms. Guien
1415 graduated from Niceville High School in 2014; she is now studying
1516 economics at The University of Texas at Austin, where she expects to
1617 earn her degree in May 2018, and she is also active in the College
1718 Republicans at Texas as the club's communications director; and
1819 WHEREAS, This outstanding young woman has performed her
1920 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
2021 indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2122 therefore, be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby commend Bridget Guien for her service as a
2425 legislative intern in the office of State Representative James
2526 White and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in
2627 all her endeavors; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Ms. Guien as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2930 House of Representatives.
