| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Zackary Griffin of Wolf City has ably served his |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the Texas |

| 9 | 10 | | Legislative Internship Program, Mr. Griffin has provided vital |

| 10 | 11 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 11 | 12 | | addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |

| 13 | 14 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The son of Varonica and Steve Griffin, Mr. Griffin |

| 15 | 16 | | is a senior political science major at Stephen F. Austin State |

| 16 | 17 | | University; involved in student life and the community, he has |

| 17 | 18 | | worked in the Residence Department, hosting events and enforcing |

| 18 | 19 | | university regulations, and he is an executive officer in Driving |

| 19 | 20 | | Jacks, an organization that provides safe, free, and confidential |

| 20 | 21 | | rides home to all Nacogdoches residents; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 22 | 23 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
