45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all Texans
67 have a stake, and those individuals who devote themselves to the
78 development of our young people are helping to ensure that the
89 future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and
910 WHEREAS, One such individual is Katherine Barrett, a family
1011 consumer science teacher at Juan Seguin High School, who has
1112 demonstrated an outstanding commitment to her students by achieving
1213 a perfect record of attendance for the 2014-2015 school year; and
1314 WHEREAS, A 9th through 12th grade teacher, Ms. Barrett works
1415 tirelessly to equip her pupils with the knowledge and skills they
1516 will need to become responsible and productive citizens; and
1617 WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our
1718 future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and
1819 Katherine Barrett embodies the spirit of service and dedication
1920 that are the hallmarks of a good teacher; now, therefore, be it
2021 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2122 Legislature hereby commend Katherine Barrett on her perfect
2223 attendance during the 2014-2015 school year and extend to her
2324 sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2425 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2526 prepared for Ms. Barrett as an expression of high regard by the
2627 Texas House of Representatives.
