45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all Texans
67 have a stake, and those individuals who devote themselves to the
78 development of our young people are helping to ensure that the
89 future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and
910 WHEREAS, One such individual is Tamie Colston, an English
1011 teacher at Juan Seguin High School, who has demonstrated an
1112 outstanding commitment to her students by achieving a perfect
1213 record of attendance for the 2014-2015 school year; and
1314 WHEREAS, A 10th grade teacher, Ms. Colston works tirelessly
1415 to equip her pupils with the knowledge and skills they will need to
1516 become responsible and productive citizens; and
1617 WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our
1718 future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and Tamie
1819 Colston embodies the spirit of service and dedication that are the
1920 hallmarks of a good teacher; now, therefore, be it
2021 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2122 Legislature hereby commend Tamie Colston on her perfect attendance
2223 during the 2014-2015 school year and extend to her sincere best
2324 wishes for the future; and, be it further
2425 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2526 prepared for Ms. Colston as an expression of high regard by the
2627 Texas House of Representatives.
