| 8 | 9 | | at-risk youth and law enforcement personnel, TAPS Academy promotes |

| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Student participants enhance their decision-making |

| 12 | 13 | | skills and earn course credit during the 11-week program, which |

| 13 | 14 | | addresses a variety of important topics, including abuse, bullying, |

| 14 | 15 | | truancy, and conflict resolution; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, By encouraging understanding between young people |

| 16 | 17 | | and law enforcement professionals, the TAPS Academy of El Paso is |
