| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jamie Lee has ably served her fellow Texans as an |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Lee has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 10 | 11 | | addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |

| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A Dallas native and the daughter of proud parents |

| 14 | 15 | | Young and Myung Lee, Ms. Lee is a College of Natural Sciences |

| 15 | 16 | | undergraduate research fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, |

| 16 | 17 | | where she is working toward a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a |

| 17 | 18 | | public policy certificate; she has further distinguished herself |

| 18 | 19 | | through her service as president of the Natural Sciences Council, |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | as a peer advisor in the CNS Dean's Office, and as a mentor through |

| 20 | 21 | | Women in Natural Sciences; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 22 | 23 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 23 | 24 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
