R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Senior Care Centers of Dallas is a respected leader
in the senior nursing care and rehabilitation industry in Texas;
and
WHEREAS, The company's 11,000 employees offer skilled
nursing, assisted living, and memory care services to approximately
9,500 seniors in more than 90 locations across the Lone Star State;
and
WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of chief executive
officer Mark McKenzie, the corporation has grown in recent years,
acquiring more facilities, upgrading its technology, and becoming
the largest skilled nursing provider in the state; and
WHEREAS, Senior Care Centers is creating employment
opportunities and offering older Texans a safe, comfortable, and
compassionate living environment, and in so doing, it is making a
significant contribution to the economy and quality of life in many
Texas communities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Senior Care Centers and extend sincere
best wishes to Mr. McKenzie and the company's staff for continued
success in their important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Senior Care Centers as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
