45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Sarah Crawford of George West was crowned Miss Live
67 Oak County in March 2015, and this achievement is truly deserving of
78 recognition; and
89 WHEREAS, Selected from a field of talented contestants,
910 Ms. Crawford excelled during the pageant's four rounds of
1011 competition and earned the Most Distinguished Participant Award in
1112 addition to being judged the overall winner; and
1213 WHEREAS, The daughter of Philip and Paula Crawford, this
1314 accomplished young Texan is a senior at George West High School,
1415 where she serves as vice president of the Class of 2015 and is
1516 active in the National Honor Society, FFA, Family, Career and
1617 Community Leaders of America, and the Business Professionals of
1718 America; following graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in
1819 nutritional science at Texas A&M University; and
1920 WHEREAS, Sarah Crawford's victory in the annual pageant is a
2021 source of pride for her school and community, and she is sure to
2122 prove herself an exemplary representative for Live Oak County in
2223 the months ahead; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah Crawford on being named Miss
2526 Live Oak County 2015 and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
2627 future; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Ms. Crawford as an expression of high regard by the
2930 Texas House of Representatives.
