| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sarah Crawford of George West was crowned Miss Live |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Selected from a field of talented contestants, |

| 9 | 10 | | Ms. Crawford excelled during the pageant's four rounds of |

| 10 | 11 | | competition and earned the Most Distinguished Participant Award in |

| 11 | 12 | | addition to being judged the overall winner; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Philip and Paula Crawford, this |

| 13 | 14 | | accomplished young Texan is a senior at George West High School, |

| 14 | 15 | | where she serves as vice president of the Class of 2015 and is |

| 15 | 16 | | active in the National Honor Society, FFA, Family, Career and |

| 16 | 17 | | Community Leaders of America, and the Business Professionals of |

| 17 | 18 | | America; following graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in |

| 18 | 19 | | nutritional science at Texas A&M University; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Sarah Crawford's victory in the annual pageant is a |

| 20 | 21 | | source of pride for her school and community, and she is sure to |

| 21 | 22 | | prove herself an exemplary representative for Live Oak County in |

| 22 | 23 | | the months ahead; now, therefore, be it |
