| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The baseball team from Calallen High School in |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Wildcats received a dominant performance from |

| 9 | 10 | | pitcher Kyle Hill, who tossed a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts, |

| 10 | 11 | | and benefited from a number of timely hits to win the game by a score |

| 11 | 12 | | of 4-0; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Led by head coach Steve Chapman, Calallen finished |

| 13 | 14 | | the regular season with an outstanding overall record of 21 wins to |

| 14 | 15 | | just 2 defeats, including a 14-1 mark in district play; as district |

| 15 | 16 | | champions, the Wildcats will go on to compete for the state title in |

| 16 | 17 | | the University Interscholastic League playoffs in May; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The hard work and determination of these talented |
