| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Members of the North East Bexar County Democrats are |

| 6 | 7 | | gathering on May 7, 2015, for their annual Dining with Democrats |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since its founding, this noteworthy organization |

| 9 | 10 | | has been guided by faith in freedom, democracy, and principles of |

| 10 | 11 | | good government; its members are committed to supporting the right |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | to vote and expanding participation in the electoral process; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The organization seeks to ensure that all Texans can |

| 13 | 14 | | reach their full potential; accordingly, it promotes broader |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | opportunity through policies that advance quality public |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | education, affordable health care, meaningful employment, clean |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | air and water, and prosperity; it also works in behalf of secure, |

| 17 | 18 | | tranquil communities and a safety net for the most vulnerable; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Through their dedication to the concept of honest, |

| 19 | 20 | | ethical government that fairly serves the public interest, the men |

| 20 | 21 | | and women of the North East Bexar County Democrats are making a |
