45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout is an achievement shared by
67 only a select few, and the attainment of this significant honor by
78 James Clifton Kays of McKinney heralds a future bright with
89 opportunity and promise; and
910 WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has mastered a number of
1011 important skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout; he has
1112 earned merit badges requiring expertise in such diverse areas as
1213 first aid, personal fitness, and environmental science, and he has
1314 gained experience in leadership and teamwork while undertaking an
1415 Eagle Scout project that has contributed to the betterment of his
1516 community; and
1617 WHEREAS, Mr. Kays has served his peers as a leader, and in so
1718 doing, he has exemplified the many positive traits for which Boy
1819 Scouts are renowned; and
1920 WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for
2021 attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, James Clifton Kays has
2122 demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the Boy Scouts
2223 organization and its ideals, and the knowledge and confidence he
2324 has acquired along the way will indeed serve him well in the years
2425 to come; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby congratulate James Clifton Kays on achieving
2728 this prestigious rank and extend to him sincere best wishes for
2829 continued success and happiness; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Eagle Scout Kays as an expression of high regard by the
3132 Texas House of Representatives.
