H.R. No. 2697
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Andrea and Ramon Alejandro have added to the
economic well-being of the Robstown region through the operation of
their business, The Spanish Gate, a beauty salon that they opened in
1972; and
WHEREAS, A native of Robstown, Mrs. Alejandro has provided
hairstyling for countless local women over the years, keeping up to
date in her profession by attending numerous hair shows; the
business has been important in the education of her children and has
allowed her the opportunity to meet interesting people and to
accomplish important goals; and
WHEREAS, The Spanish Gate has won the loyalty of many area
residents, and Mrs. Alejandro truly merits special recognition for
her 43 years in business; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Andrea Alejandro on the success of
her business, The Spanish Gate, and extend to her sincere best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Alejandro as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
