H.R. No. 2699
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Lauren Hale of Buna High School qualified for the
2015 University Interscholastic League 3A Golf State Tournament;
and
WHEREAS, Continuing her outstanding senior campaign,
Ms. Hale secured her trip to state with an impressive performance
at the Region 3-3A tournament in Brenham on April 13-14; she
competed against other top golfers from around the area at the
Brenham Country Club, where she posted a top-five finish to claim
medalist honors; and
WHEREAS, Through hard work and an unwavering commitment to
excellence, this talented student-athlete has earned a place among
the Lone Star State's top 3A golfers, and she may indeed take
justifiable pride in her outstanding accomplishment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Lauren Hale on qualifying for the
2015 UIL 3A Golf State Tournament and extend to her sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Hale as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
