| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Bryan Shea of Humble has ably served his fellow |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Shea has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |

| 10 | 11 | | including addressing the needs of constituents; in addition to |

| 11 | 12 | | learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable experience |

| 13 | 14 | | in the field of public service; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The son of proud parents William and Wanda Shea, |

| 15 | 16 | | Mr. Shea is a senior at the University of Houston, where he is |

| 16 | 17 | | pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science and is active in |

| 17 | 18 | | the Civic Houston Internship Program; in 2014, he earned a place on |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | the Dean's List and was named a CHIP Internship Scholar; he has |

| 19 | 20 | | gained additional work experience as a file clerk at the law firm of |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Patterson, Boyd, and Lowery, P.C., and by providing patient |

| 21 | 22 | | transportation at MD Anderson Cancer Center; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 23 | 24 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 24 | 25 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
