56 WHEREAS, Railroad Bar-B-Que of Dripping Springs brought its
67 savory specialties to the State Capitol during the 84th Legislative
78 Session as one of the featured restaurants for "Bar-B-Quesday"; and
89 WHEREAS, Hosted on Tuesdays by State Representative Jason
910 Isaac, this popular event provides a showcase for some of the finest
1011 barbecue establishments from House District 45; and
1112 WHEREAS, Railroad Bar-B-Que was founded in Manchaca in 1982
1213 by the Sherrill family, and it is now located in Dripping Springs;
1314 the restaurant serves a full range of slow-cooked brisket, sausage,
1415 ribs, chicken, and turkey, complete with the traditional fixings;
1516 and
1617 WHEREAS, Texas barbecue is renowned across the nation and
1718 around the world, and this proud culinary tradition is maintained
1819 and enriched by outstanding Central Texas businesses such as
1920 Railroad Bar-B-Que; now, therefore, be it
2021 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2122 Legislature hereby commend Railroad Bar-B-Que for its
2223 participation in Bar-B-Quesday and extend sincere best wishes to
2324 the Sherrill family and their staff for continued success; and, be
2425 it further
2526 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2627 prepared for Railroad Bar-B-Que as an expression of high regard by
2728 the Texas House of Representatives.
