H.R. No. 2825 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Zoe Ang has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative Travis Clardy during the 84th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ang has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience in the field of public service; and WHEREAS, Ms. Ang graduated from Westwood High School in Austin before going on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University in 2012; she has served her peers as the Phi Alpha president on the SFASU School of Social Work Student Council, and she has worked with her school's disability services program, taking notes for students in need; furthermore, she was named a finalist at the 2014 SFASU Undergraduate Research Conference, and she has completed a social work internship at Westward Trails Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; and WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby commend Zoe Ang for her service as a legislative intern in the office of State Representative Travis Clardy and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Ang as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
