R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Walker-Ann Wilson received well-deserved
recognition when she was named Student of the Week at Jasper High
School in 2015; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Steve and Judy Wilson, Walker-Ann
Wilson has demonstrated humility and maturity beyond her years
during her time at Jasper High, and she has involved herself in a
multitude of school activities; in addition to her membership in
the National Honor Society, she has participated in cross-country,
Bulldogs for Christ, and the school's PELE Child Care Program; she
is also a member of the state finalist Lady Dawgs soccer team; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Wilson has proven herself a leader both in and
out of the classroom, and her ability and initiative predict a
bright future for this notable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Walker-Ann Wilson on her selection
as Jasper High School Student of the Week and extend to her sincere
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
